“In his final State of the Union address in January, President Obama asked: “Why would we want to pass up the chance for American businesses to produce and sell the energy of the future?” His statement sounded a clarion call to business leaders, policy makers, and job creators. When it comes to the energy of the 21st century, there are hundreds of billions of dollars and millions of new jobs on the line. The president’s remarks came on the heels of the landmark Paris Agreement, with 195 countries agreeing to an accord that will cut greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale, and potentially impact global energy markets in dramatic ways.”
